Once you have created a category, you can then add a topic and write your blog. You can add as many topics as you want to a category, or you can create new categories to help keep your topics organized.

What are Blogs?
Blogs are basically a personal journal that are typically used for publishing news and articles or for expressing your opinions or observations about a topic, which could be political statements or views, providing tutorials, or simply telling the world all about your favorite movies etc.

Other members can read your blogs and join in by commenting or expressing their own opinions about the topic, often spawning lively discussions. Blogs can be considered like each member having their own personal mini forum where they are in total control of the topics, including deleting any comments they feel are inappropriate.

Creating Your First Blog
There's several steps required in creating your very first blog.

STEP ONE:
First you need to create a blog category for your topics.

Click on this link to create a new blog category and then add a name and a brief description for the category.



STEP TWO:
Now you need to create a topic and write about it.


Click on this link to add and create your topic to the blog category.




Select whether or not you want to allow members to post comments to your topic.

That's it, you have just created and published your first blog topic which will now appear in the listings and ready to view and receive comments by other members.

Managing Your Blogs


Click on this link to delete this blog category, this will delete the entire blog including all comments and topics associated with this blog.



Click on this link to edit the name or description of the blog.



Click on this link to manage the topics added to this blog category, allows you to edit, delete or add a new topic to this blog category.

You can create as many blog categories as you want and also add as many topics as you want to each category. The Blog Manager is designed to make organizing and keeping track of your blogs easier.

For Example: you may want to create a Topic under the Music blog category about "Favorite Music Artists", and then later decide to add another Topic under the Music blog category about "Favorite Songs".
